We replaced our smoke detectors due to their age at about 8.5 years. (One of the smoke detector units started beeping for no apparent reason. Hence we decided to have them all replaced as they were reaching the end of their life cycle of 8-10 years) The replacement was done efficiently, and Chris was courteous and very helpful in explaining the life cycle detector and replacement process.

I can highly recommend Mr. Sparky also known as wise electric company. Not sure how competitive their pricing is. But they were always on time and communicated what they were doing and when they were on their way as the job I had them do was quite extensive and required many days of work from them. Plus coordination with electrical inspector and Duke Power as Duke required my old electric meter to be relocated and Mr. Sparky employees did all Duke Powers work except for the final hookup which included digging a long trench from my power pole to the house. They cleaned up after themselves everyday. I originally hired them to install a new generator but upon inspecting the 1988 circuit box, all circuits and wiring in the box had to be redone with new wiring and new ground poles installed. Price quoted at the beginning never changed despite the fact that they had a lot of additional work to do as the project went on because of Duke Powers requests.
